Fusoir had come into possession of the powerful, evil Sinister Orb esper. He kept it with him at all times to seal its evil, but doing so eroded his mind.
When Shaw Danon and Baye were young, Fusoir stayed for a night in Grasstemple Village. They were kidnapped by a man in black, and Fusoir followed and fought him, but he was badly hurt.
In his weakened, desperate state, his mind was controlled by Sinister Orb. At this point he walked into Grasstemple Village and destroyed it.
Was this why Shaw Danon betrayed Jadeon? Tanis Ka only laughs as you puzzle it through. You should go to Jadeon if want to know the truth.
